Texyloop® produces raw materials whose quality is similar to that of the original materials.
  • The recycled polyester fibres are suitable for many applications such as thermal and sound insulation.

This quality level allows 100% re-use of these recycled materials in existing industrial processes.

Focus on green roofs

For a number of years now, polyester fibre is also used for green (living) roofs.
Texyloop Toiture Végétalisée is a non-woven polyester material produced by recycling flexible composite PET/PVC materials. After recycling the composite by selective dissolution, the polyester fibre is applied to obtain a non-woven product. This material can be used as a growing mat in which plants can take root or as a filtration layer between the substrate and the drainage layer.
