The Institute for Membrane and Shell Technologies (IMS) holds its first educational symposium in the United States.

Serge Ferrari's own Francoise Fournier will be speaking at the upcoming IMS International Tensile Architecture Symposium.

This is the first IMS symposium in the US and will take place May 17-19 at the School of Architecture at the University of Miami, Florida. This 3 day symposium is an academic event and networking opportunity to share experiences with other tensile architecture professionals.

In previous years, similar events have been hosted in Germany, Spain, Turkey, Iran, Panama and Peru. Serge Ferrari is a proud sponsor of this year's event.

Francoise Fournier is Serge Ferrari Market Manager for Tensile Buildings and Market Development Manager for Sport Facilities. She has been actively involved in tensile architecture for more than a decade, and will be speaking on the durability of materials. She has been an invited lecturer at the IMS Masters Program since 2008.
