Our CShR Policy

Since its creation, Serge Ferrari Group has been attentive to environmental issues. In 2021, the Group chose to re-examine its trajectory by linking its growth to the integration of sustainable development challenges at every level of the company. The Group’s entire CSR policy was therefore updated to better address the environmental and social risks affecting its business model, while strengthening its competitive advantages.

This policy also aligns with the Group’s broader mission: to design useful solutions that are both responsible and aligned with market needs.

The history and convictions of Serge Ferrari Group are rooted in a continuous approach to innovation.

A simple and measurable commitment

“Act now to build a better tomorrow” is more than just a motto. It is the foundation of our sustainability strategy for 2022–2030 across all Group activities and operations. This mission naturally leads to a clear principle: do better with zero additional impact. The goal is to foster more responsible growth, with reducing our carbon footprint as the top priority.

By adopting this principle, summarized as “do better with less”, Serge Ferrari aims to continue its growth without adding further impact.

Investing in our Human project

Our CSR approach is above all rooted in the human dimension of the company. The objective is clear: to rely on collective intelligence to transform today’s industrial model and design tomorrow’s products. This vision draws on the Group’s DNA and strong values to guide transformation and ensure long-term, sustainable development. This is referred to as our global CShR project.

Our CShR project is designed to be:

GLOBAL

Based on the Group’s three historical pillars:
People | Environment | Sustainable Innovation

SINCeRE

With a clear roadmap, a long-term 2030 horizon, annual milestones, and defined, measurable objectives.

Aligned

As the framework and engine of transformation, the CShR project must be integrated across the entire Group, where every function can adopt it naturally. It must also guide all decision-making processes.

RESPONDING TO THE CHALLENGE OF GLOBAL WARMING

As a manufacturer of durable textile membranes, Serge Ferrari Group contributes to the fight against climate change by offering innovative solutions for thermal insulation, solar protection, and, more broadly, building envelope performance. These solutions address the construction sector’s growing need for energy efficiency—an industry that accounts for a significant share of global CO₂ emissions.
Thus, global warming is not only a challenge to overcome but also a market opportunity for the Group.

RESPONDING TO THE CHALLENGE OF RESOURCE SCARCITY

Serge Ferrari Group addresses the challenge of resource scarcity by implementing its internal “+=0” standard. This rule aims to stabilize resource consumption by 2030 and establish a trajectory that enables growth without drawing on additional resources. By leveraging its expertise and committing to eco-design, the company seeks to minimize the impact of its activities on natural resources.
In addition, the Group is actively involved in developing integrated solutions that support the search for sustainable energy alternatives, such as biogas. This approach helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with the combustion of hydrocarbons.

RESPONDING TO THE CHALLENGE OF TERRITORIAL LIVABILITY

In 2023, the Group launched the RhSE® 2030 project, designed to reconcile carbon and resource approaches while placing people at the center of its priorities. This initiative aims to transform the company’s business model to meet the expectations of today’s and tomorrow’s world, fostering well-being and improved quality of life.
At the territorial level, Serge Ferrari Group’s products help make cities more resilient and adaptable, notably by enhancing urban living conditions through solutions such as cooling islands. In the building sector, textile membranes provide advantages in construction speed, technical performance, and improved energy efficiency.

RESPONDING TO THE CHALLENGE OF INTERNATIONAL TENSIONS

In response to these global challenges, Serge Ferrari Group has committed to a responsible approach by joining the Global Compact and using the 17 Sustainable Development Goals to guide its strategic direction. At the same time, the Group promotes governance that respects human rights and ethical practices, while advancing a circular approach to continuously improve its operations.
It also encourages employees and partners to support initiatives that foster social cohesion, diversity, and assistance for vulnerable populations.
