The Serge Ferrari Foundation

Taking concrete action for a more sustainable world

From its very beginnings, the Serge Ferrari Group has placed sustainability at the heart of its industrial model.

By developing technical solutions that address today’s environmental and social challenges, the Group reaffirms its ambition to actively contribute to building a more responsible future. In this spirit, the Serge Ferrari Foundation embodies the Group’s commitment beyond its economic and industrial activities, structuring a philanthropic approach focused on the common good.

A Mission Aligned with the Group’s Values

Established in 2022 to strengthen the social impact of the Group’s CSR strategy, the Serge Ferrari Foundation aims to provide financial support for projects with a strong environmental and social impact.

Operating under the umbrella of the “Fondation Terre Solidaire”, it focuses on supporting:

  • Vulnerable individuals affected by the consequences of climate change,
  • Initiatives that promote education and awareness around ecological transition,
  • Research and innovation efforts aimed at developing sustainable and practical solutions to build the world of tomorrow.

Committed, Human, and Expert Governance

The governance of the Serge Ferrari Foundation is based on a multidisciplinary and balanced committee, bringing together:

  • Representatives of the Group’s employees,
  • Former retired collaborators,
  • External experts recognized for their expertise and commitment to environmental and social issues.

The Foundation is chaired by Sébastien Baril, Chairman of the Group’s Management Board, alongside Félicie Ferrari, representing the founding family shareholders.

Operational coordination is led by Hervé Garcia, Secretary General of Serge Ferrari Group.

Impactful Projects Rooted in Education and Knowledge Sharing

The Foundation supports projects led by non-profit organizations, both in France and internationally, provided they are connected to ecological transition. Each funded initiative includes a strong educational component, designed to raise public awareness—particularly among younger generations—of environmental issues, while promoting sharing, transmission, and civic engagement.

Recognizing the collective energy of its employees, the Foundation has introduced a sponsorship system: any volunteer employee can support a project in collaboration with its on-the-ground partners, thereby strengthening the link between the Group’s commitments and its teams.

Eligibility Criteria and Selection Process

To receive support from the Serge Ferrari Foundation, projects should ideally:

  • Fall within one of the three priority areas (climate, awareness, sustainable innovation),
  • Include an educational or participatory dimension,
  • Be sponsored (where possible) by a Group employee.

Projects can be submitted throughout the year. After an initial pre-selection by the Foundation’s team, applications are reviewed by the Governance Committee. If the committee’s opinion is favorable, project leaders and their sponsors are invited to present their initiative for final approval.

A Concrete Commitment

The Serge Ferrari Foundation has an overall budget of €250,000 spread over five years, dedicated exclusively to funding projects serving the public interest. This endowment reflects a structured, measurable, and lasting commitment, driven by the desire to make a difference where the need is greatest.
