OGO is a Spanish brand with Mediterranean vibes specialising in lightweight outdoor furniture design, with some products specifically developed to achieve maximum du-rability in water — making them perfect for poolside use for instance.
But what truly sets OGO apart is its passion for creating comfortable and playful de-signs that leave a lasting impression.

Ana Llácer, a young designer from Valencia, Spain who started her career at OGO, has given life to a new chair that is remarkable for its size, shape and function Lola G. Lola G is a product that offers new opportunities on a market yet untapped by the brand: the local public sector.
Lola G is suitable for use in meeting rooms, playrooms and even waiting rooms. Available in a wide variation of colours, its versatility allows it to match with any decor and vision.
Ana is currently part of OGO’s Design and Creation team. She talks to us about this new product, Lola G.

How would you characterise your design?

Lola G is a versatile seating solution. A piece that packs a lot of character into a compact object.

What was the concept that guided you through this creative process?

The idea was to create a product that was ergonomic, small and versatile so it would adapt easily to any kind of space. We wanted to pair comfort (ergonomic design, lumbar support) with aesthetics.
Our first source of inspiration for the design of Lola G was shared office spaces:
– the chair is easily stackable and minimally cumbersome.
– two positions are possible, to either interact with others or relax.
Because OGO specialises in outdoor products, we wanted to make sure Lola G could be used both inside the home and outside, and so the key factor was choosing the right upholstery material.
The choice of Serge Ferrari’s Batyline Perform Lounge fabric gives Lola G additional value added as it makes the product more versatile, easier to use and more elegant.

What needs were you looking to address with this product? Who is your target audience?

It can be used in outdoor leisure spaces (patios, cinemas, pubs, etc.), as well as in indoor environments open to the public, thanks to its proven fire resistance.

If you had to explain the concept and what makes it special in just a few words, what would you say?

Lola G is small but tough. And despite its size, it is a product developed for all types of public.
