Soltis Touch chosen for the interior blinds of Bonfiglioli’s new HQ
ABOUT
Bonfiglioli, a leader in the automation components market, has chosen Soltis Touch for the solar protection of its new headquarters in Calderara di Reno (BO). The new building represents a harmonious dialogue between architecture, technology, sustainability, and the environment.
Designed by Peter Pichler Architecture, the new headquarters was conceived with a focus on maximizing natural light throughout the day, thus optimizing temperature, comfort, and energy efficiency. Cutting-edge technologies have been seamlessly integrated into the building’s architecture.
The Soltis Touch fabric was selected in two variants with openness factors of 3% and 5%, and was installed on 245 roller blinds, covering a total of over 3,300 sqm. The result is a combination of elegance and naturalness, merging aesthetic qualities with high thermal, acoustic, and light protection performance. From the very first meeting, Peter Pichler Architecture emphasized the importance of guiding design choices toward the well-being of people
Serge Ferrari proposed Soltis Touch for its excellent solar and light properties: for the most exposed facades, Soltis Touch 3% effectively controls solar radiation, while on the northeast facade and the inner courtyard, Soltis Touch 5% offers transparency and natural light. Additionally, its ability to reduce glare was a key factor in the selection of this fabric, contributing to improved acoustic comfort for the occupants. Peter Pichler Architecture’s attention to detail also appreciated the aesthetic qualities: the natural effect and cord color perfectly integrate with the concept, creating warm and welcoming environments in the offices.
Our partner Resstende played a key role in creating innovative solutions, designing concealed roller blinds that seamlessly combine functionality and aesthetics. The double-height blinds in the Presidential Floor, exceeding 6 meters in height, showcase a work that goes beyond the visible, offering functional solutions with striking visual impact. The interior architecture thus becomes part of an invisible yet tangible harmony, thanks to meticulous care and attention to detail.
